Abstract

This study investigates the disinfection and formation of air contaminants associated with two types of far-UVC light (ceiling-mounted and standing) in an office room. The ceiling-mounted type yields 20 - 30% better disinfection performance than the standing type. However, a marginal difference was observed for the concentration of secondary organic aerosols (SOA) within the breathing zone.
