Abstract
The azide bridge complex [(η6-p-cymene)Ru(μ-N3)Cl]2 (2) was prepared from the reaction of sodium azide with [(η6-p-cymene)RuCl]2 in ethanol. The molecular structures and spectroscopic properties of the various azido ruthenium complexes so obtained from the reaction with monodentate and bidentate ligands are described.
