Abstract
An algorithm developed to select 'best' machinery complements for a variety of crop rotations was used to select machinery for conventional and conservation tillage systems in Michigan. A sensitivity analysis was performed to verify the model. Conservation tillage equipment can be owned and operated at a lower cost than conventional tillage equipment.
