Abstract

Polyphosphazenes are prepared by a substitutive process that involves nucleophilic displacement reactions on poly(dihalophosphazenes). A variety of strategies are described for the utilization of this approach for the preparation of polymeric drugs and polymer-bound transition metal systems.
