New limits from single-photon searches at e+e- colliders

Abstract

We consider the possibility of radiative pair production of millicharged matter (particles with effective electric charge e where 1) in e+e- collisions and give constraints on the charge () of light (< few GeV) millicharged particles from recent single-photon experiments at the SLAC and DESY e+e- storage rings PEP and PETRA. Following a recent suggestion, we also derive limits on a possible anomalous W magnetic moment from these data.
