Abstract
We provide evidence that the underground muons associated with Cygnus X-3 are caused by scattering of a strongly interacting neutral particle of energy not much more than 1 TeV. The interactions must be of a previously undetected type, with a natural interaction mass scale about 10-50 GeV. The particles coming from Cygnus X-3 must, however, be light, perhaps resulting from neutrino decay or oscillation.
