Abstract

Huge changes in the world are occurring at a pace never experienced by our ancestors. These changes which will reshape the human experience in the 21 st century which will be covered by the media industry are going to impact not only countries, societies and industries, but also the media industry. Just as the world is changing, the media must adapt accordingly in order to follow suit. The new generation of media consumers that has arisen demands content delivered when they want I and how they want it. The emerging wireless-driven generation, is the force behind the knowledge revolution in the media industry which is relying more and more on state-of-the-art technologies to deliver the free flow of information. News Corporation is an example of one media organization which is preparing to face the brave new wireless media world.
