Abstract

A detailed investigation performed on the nonlead perovskite structure compounds based upon the empirical structural approach was reported. It was found that Ba(Li1/4Nb3/4)O3 (BLN) has a cubic symmetry at room temperature. The dielectric spectrum of BLN exhibited a U shaped curve with a flat bottom, which occurs in the temperature range of 200-300°C, and the magnitude of dielectric constant in this region is 40 with a 0 ppm/°C temperature coefficient of permittivity.
