Nonsimilar calculations for free convection diffusion flames

Abstract

Previously obtained results using a local similarity approximation are compared with results of nonsimilar calculations for the problem of a free convection diffusion flame burning on a vertical fuel surface. Comparisons are presented for burning rates and temperatures.
