Abstract
Middle school children go through significant developmental changes including physical growth, pubertal development, and cognitive and social skills development. Growth and development occur at each child’s own pace with a wide range of appropriate developmental stages among peers. This chapter will present two cases of children with deviations from typical growth and development and discuss next steps in evaluation.
