Abstract

A study was carried out to demonstrate that simple alkylaluminum compounds, when activated by suitable Lewis acids, can catalyze the homo and copolymerization of ethene and propene to high molecular weight polymers with narrow polydispersities. The obtained compounds were characterized by 1H and 13C-NMR spectroscopy.
