Novel NbS2 metallic nanotubes

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The electronic properties and stability of NbS2 nanotubes have been studied using the Density-Functional-based Tight-Binding method. Optimizations of these structures confirm the stability of the tubes. We demonstrate that NbS2 nanotubes are all metallic with a high density of states at the Fermi level.
