Abstract
Two structure functions using the theory of lkeading twist nuclear shadowing, which is based on the existence of the deep connection between the phenomena of high energy diffraction and nuclear shadowing demonstratedwithin the Reggeon calculus for hadron-deuteron scattering by Gribov, and the Collins factorization theorem for hard diffraction are analyzed. It is demonstrated that a combined analysis of inclusive and semi-inclusive scattering off the deuteron coupled with a high resolution proton spectrometer will allow for the measurement of F2n at small x with the theoretical uncertainty of better than 0.5%.
