Abstract
We demonstrate that comparitively large smearing corrections for eD scattering obtained in ref. [1] are mostly due to an inconsistent way of accounting for the vacuum fluctuations. On the basis ofthe Gribov and Feynmna space-time picture we derive formulae which have a straightforward correspondence with the conventional theory of the deuteron.
