Abstract
It has been shown here that the Fourier transform, which can be obtained experimentally, of an evolving fractal can be manipulated to yield the fractal dimension. Although only the Pascal-Sierpinski gaskets have been considered here, because of their generality, it is expected that this technique can be utilized to identify other planar fractals as well.
