Abstract

This article is an overview of what libraries should consider for the representation of e-journals in their OPAC. There are four major issues to consider: (1) whether or not to include e-journals in the OPAC at all, (2) which type of display format should be used - a single cataloging record including all formats or separate cataloging records for each format, (3) how to link to e-journals in the OPAC, and (4) whether or not to include Open-Access journals or out-of-scope e-journal titles in the OPAC.
