Operative Fixation of Symptomatic Os Acromiale

Os acromiale is often an incidental finding, but it can become symptomatic for some individuals. Diagnosis is facilitated by local diagnostic injection. When nonoperative treatment fails, open reduction and internal fixation with a tension band construct is effective in achieving union at the site.
