Abstract

In this paper, we present optically transparent flexible conductive polymer antennas for radio frequency iden tification systems. The designs for these antennas are presented along with simulated and measured results of antenna radiating properties. These conductive polymer antennas are compared to antennas with the same design fabricated out of copper. Finally, we include an analysis of the optical transparency of the conductive polymer antennas.
