Abstract

The orientational dependence of piezoelectric properties of single domain 0.67Pb(Mn_1/3Nb_2/3)O₃-0.33PbTiO₃ (PMN-33%PT) crystals was investigated. The maximum values of longitudinal piezoelectric constant and electromagnetic coupling factor were obtained in the direction of 63.0°abd 70.8°, respectively. The results showed the origin of the superior electromechanical properties in PMN-33%PT multidomain crystals.
