Abstract

Various features of Origin 7.5, computer software were discussed. Origin 7.5 requires Window XP professional and minimum 128 MB of RAM. Origin 7.5 has a more intuitive plotting interface using a plot setup dialouge and an import wizard to provide visual assistance when importing binary and ASCII data files. The software has an improved day/time support which can utilize a variety of customized formats and the inter-range instrumentation group (IRIG) time format.
