Abstract
A theoretical examination of the potential of orthorhombic materials for perfect lenses was presented. The canonical formulation of a perfect lens involved two linear homogeneous materials and four interfaces. The materials were linear, homogeneous, bianisotropic and necessarily dispersive. Results show that a perfect lens can be made with two orthorhombic materials, provided certain conditions.
