Oxygen isotope changes during mica alteration.

Research output: Contribution to journalArticlepeer-review

Abstract

The extent of oxygen isotope-exchange in structural layers during the weathering of micas to expanding layer silicates has been investigated. Results suggest that oxygen isotope ratios can be used to determine the nature of chemical transformation in such weathering.-D.F.B.
