Abstract

The palladium (II)-catalyzed alternating copolymerization of carbon monoxide with α-olefins have been reported. Herein, we report our results encompassing the synthesis and characterization of tactic S-Co copolymer, as well as terpolymers of ethylene, styrene and CO (E-S-CO terpolymer), and propylene, styrene and CO (P-S-CO terpolymer) that have tactic blocks of S-CO units.
