Abstract
A study was performed on the central issues and unresolved problems associated with the approach to modeling and generation of the stochastic input processes driving simulation models. The bootstrap resampling method was used for conducting the study. Bootstrap resampling captures the uncertainty in the predicted system performance due to finiteness of the empirical data used to determine the input distribution.
