Abstract
In this study, organic thin-film transistors (TFTs) with electrical characteristics similar to or better than those typically obtained with hydrogenated amorphous silicon devices are demonstrated on glass substrates and on inexpensive flexible plastic substrates. Potential applications for organic TFTs, all-organic integrated TFT circuits, and complementary inorganic/organic TFT circuits are in a variety of large-area, low-cost electronic, and optoelectronic applications.
