Abstract
That continuing professional education leads to increased faculty consulting opportunities thereby drawing faculty away from the campus was challenged by the research findings. Data suggested that continuing professional education programs such as executive programs may be better characterized as a way for institutions to provide beneficial contact with practitioners while keeping faculty at home.
