Abstract
Regardless of the arrhythmia treated or the antiarrhythymic drug selected, proper evaluation and appropriate testing should be performed in control and treated states. During therapy, monitoring of ECG intervals, blood levels, subjective toxicity, and end-organ toxicity must be tailored for the individual patient and for the antiarrhythmic drug selected.
