Abstract

The analogous case of a thin film adsorbed on the inner surface of a spherical cavity was addressed. First, the in-plane phonon dispersion relation for the spherical surface results for the cylindrical and planar cases was derived. In view of this, some of the heat capacity results were anticipated. Finally, a crossover behavior in the heat capacity was identified and compared with some experimental measurements.
