Abstract

The 'PIM 2001' conference presents a global view of the tecnologies and markets of the rapidly growing powder injection moulding (PIM) industry. More than 115 participated representing 82 companies and 14 countries. As such, thirty-two presentations covered available powders, feedstocks, binder systems, moulding machines, furnaces, and part producers' concerns. An important benefit of the meeting was that discussions took place with so many people active in the worldwide PIM industry gathered in one location.
