Abstract

Biochemical studies suggest that G proteins mediate a variety of signaling processes in plants, yet Arabidopsis has only one gene, GPA1, for a canonical G protein subunit, Recent studies indicate that the GPA1 protein is involved in a number of very different cellular processes.
