abstract = "Virus infectious diseases are perpetual threats to human and animals. There is an urgent need for a sensitive platform for rapid virus detection at any location with a simple set-up. A smartphone based point-of-care platform is developed for highly sensitive and selective detecting of avian influenza virus by a colorimetric reaction in 1.5 hours. A smartphone imaging system including a data processing application allows a detection limit of 8 ×103 EID50/ml, which is more than 30 times higher than the conventional enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).",
