Abstract
The induced magnetization of Sr2RuO4 through the superconductivity transition was studied. No change in the magnitude or distribution of the induced moment was found upon entering the superconducting transition. The single crystal of Sr2RuO4 used was prepared by a floating-zone method in an infrared image furnace. It was found that for a 1 T field applied parallel to the basal-plane direction, there is not detectable change in the component of the moment parallel to the applied field.
