Abstract

Poly(arylene ether sulfone) (PSU) ionomers functionalized with different sulfonic acid groups were synthesized and their fuel cell membrane properties were investigated. Under low relative humidity, PSU ionomers with strong acidity and comparable ionic exchange capacity exhibited significantly higher conductivity than those with lower acidity.
