Abstract
Ultrasound techniques have wide use in various applications in numerous fields. The frequency range from 10 kHz to 1 MHz is widely used for sound navigation and ranging (SONAR), ultrasonic welding, therapeutic ultrasound, and humidifiers. A frequency range of 1-50 MHz is commonly used in diagnostic sonography and nondestructive testing to find flaws in materials. Micron-sized silicon surface detection utilizes a frequency range of 50-200 MHz [1], and surface acoustic wave (SAW) devices use frequencies ranging from 1 to 10 GHz.
