Abstract

In light of the importance of glaciation, evidence for its occurrence is essential for further understanding of cloud physics. This paper presents radar data, utilizing the differential reflectivity (Z//D//R) signal, which indicates the possibility of more complete glaciation having taken place within a cloud. The measurements were made with the CHILL radar on the evening of July 28, 1981 during the Cooperative Convective Precipitation Experiment (CCOPE) field program in Montana. Refs.
