A discussion on biohydrogen production, presented at the 228th ACS National Meeting (Philadelphia, PA 8/22-26/2004), covers potential waste streams for hydrogen generation; hydrogen production linked to electricity production in microbial fuel cells; and electricity production from food processing wastewater.
