Abstract
Patients with high baseline gradients benefit most after TAVR. In severe symptomatic aortic stenosis, every 10 mm Hg increase in mean gradient has 20% reduction in mortality after TAVR. Low gradient severe aortic stenosis continues to be a clinical cohort with variable benefit from TAVR.
