Abstract
The 430 MHz radar system of the Arecibo Observatory (AO) possesses one of the largest power-aperture products in the world. The platform that houses the feed systems is required to be very stable. In a collaborative effort between the University of Nebraska, Clemson University, and Cornell University, a spatial interferometric (SI) system has been built and will be installed at the AO. Preliminary tests have been performed in 1995 with final installation planned for the spring of 1996.
