Abstract

The (1-x)(Na_0.5K_0.5NbO₃) -xLiTaO₃ lead free piezoelectric ceramics were prepared by using conventional oxide powders method. The crystalline, dielectric, piezoelectric, and ferroelectric properties of (1-x) (Na_0.5K_0.5NbO₃)-xLiTaO₃ ceramics were investigated. It was found that the morphotropic phase boundary of this system was located at x=6.5%, and the maximum value of piezoelectric constant d₃₃, electromechanical coupling factor k_p were 233 pC/N and 40% respectively.
