Abstract

Degenerate two-component Fermi gases offer possibilities for precision studies of pairing interactions in systems for which the density, temperature, and interaction strength are widely available. Of particular interest are the two-component mixtures of 40K and 6Li. Current effort is focused on the study of the Feshbach resonance at 850 G and superfluid pairing in a two-state Fermi gas.
