Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the effect of the salt on the characteristics of EDS-derived MgO powders. Salts that were examined in this study include: magnesium acetate, magnesium chloride, magnesium nitrate, and magnesium sulfate. These salts were specifically chosen because they have distinctly different paths of decomposition.
