Abstract

We summarize current evidence for onset of the Black Disk limit at the HERA energies and and argue that ultraperipheral collisions at LHC will provide unique new oportunities for studing of small x phenomena in the interactions with nucleons and nuclei in the energy range W ≤ TeV allowing to extend the x range of HERA by a factor of ten.
