Abstract

The Labrador Sea and Baffin Bay are two small ocean basins, separated by a sill at Davis Strait. Leg 105 proposed to study the tectonic development of these basins; the history of surface- and deep-water palaeocirculation through these regions and their connection to the Arctic and Atlantic oceans; and palaeoclimatic conditions including timing and frequency of climatic oscillations that prevailed in these regions.-A.W.Hall
