N2 - A metaevaluation is an evaluation of an evaluation to assess the utility, feasibility, propriety, and accuracy standards addressed by an evaluation. The purpose of this metaevaluation was to obtain judgmental information regarding the evaluation of a SSLP providing recommendations for further implementation of the program. The metaevaluation was guided by the following criteria: 1) the nature of the evaluation, 2) technical soundness of the evaluation, 3) the usefulness of the evaluation,4) ethical procedures employed in the evaluation, and 5) the practicality of the methods utilized in the evaluation (Rodriguez-Campos, 2004). The Metaevaluation Checklist and the Program Evaluation Standards (Stufflebeam, 1999) were used as tools to guide the authors throughout this metaevaluation. Overall and specific recommendations will be discussed. Implications for evaluators, metaevaluators, program managers, school district personnel, and educators will be provided.
