Abstract

We give a summary of our preliminary results on the finite temperature topological susceptibility X from pure SU(3) theory. The simulations use a Symanzik improved action and a gluonic definition of the topological charge with cutoff effects at the a2 level. We use the Wilson flow to calculate a properly renormalized topological charge and its susceptibility. Our results suggest a very strong decay of the topological susceptibility above Tc in line with the results in literature.
