Quantum corrections to the critical point parameters of a Lennard-Jones system in two and three dimensions

Abstract

The lowest-order corrections to the critical temperature, pressure, and density are given for a system characterized by a Lennard-Jones interparticle potential. Results are found in three and two dimensions using a truncated virial expansion. The results are compared with critical data for the noble gases.
