Abstract

Adsorption isotherms of H2 and 4He on Rb measured with a quartz microbalance are presented. They clearly show sharp prewetting transitions. For H2 on Rb a wetting temperature TW=17.89±0.04K is found. 4He isotherms below the λ point show the characteristic frequency drop due to superfluid onset.
