N2 - Many developments have occurred in coal flotation with regard to increasing recovery from the flotation circuit and its impact on overall coal preparation plant recovery. This includes innovative design of flotation circuits, equipment modification and development, methods of enhancing the use of reagents, effect of slimes, and recognizing the effect of water chemistry. This paper will review recent advances and present some guidelines to improve process efficiency.
