Abstract
An efficient method, based upon the reciprocity theorem, for calculating the radiation patterns of conformal patch antennas on circularly cylindrical platforms is presented. A problem that uses a numerical method to arrive at the current distribution on the surface of the patch is demonstrated. The ENSEMBLE code was used to model the patch antenna and the computed current distributions are illustrated.
