Abstract

A reconfigurable patch antenna with capillary structure is presented. A thermal analysis of resistive heating due to electromagnetic excitation was performed along with proposed cooling mechanism due to convective capillary thermoregulation. Simulated results are shown for transient and steady-state scenarios that link the fluids thermal properties into the electromagnetic operation.
